Multiplying Churches Globally training

Pray for the group of 40 ReachGlobal staff and guests attending Multiplying Churches Globally training at South Suburban EFC in Apple Valley, MN June 19-22. The goal of this event is to help participants understand their role and best practices in cross-cultural church multiplication. Pray for focus, for spiritual preparation, and receptivity for the facilitators and participants. Pray for wisdom and strength for ReachGlobal staff Mark, Julie, Tim, Sam, Craig O., Gene W., Mike G., Mark L., David E., and Ted S.  They are working in conjunction with SEND international to provide this training and several SEND staff are participating. Pray that this event would prepare missionaries well for their first steps in contributing to the spread of God’s church globally.

Curriculum for volunteers

Today pray for Linda, ReachGlobal personnel with EFCA CONNECT, as she works with the short-term task force to complete the new curriculum for volunteers who serve cross-culturally for up to one year. Several individuals from Virginia will soon be going through the online portion of this training, and the first live training is scheduled for August.

Training the next generation

Pray for Ernie, EFCA EQUIP, who serves ReachGlobal by enabling professional development in cross-cultural contexts. Ernie is in the Philippines for two months training the next generation of Filipino pastors. Pray for him as he teaches two classes at Cebu Graduate School of Theology. Ask God to guard his health and give him strength each day. Pray for God’s protection, health and peace for Donna while Ernie is away.

PT Live

Pray for Pre-field Training (PT) Live October 13-21, at South Suburban EFC in Apple Valley, MN. Pray for the EFCA EQUIP staff and several guest presenters facilitating this training for future ReachGlobal workers. The focus will be on topics of cross-cultural ministry, teamwork, spiritual warfare, evangelism, disciple-making, and other critical issues. Please pray for effective learning, for great community and for these participants to follow God’s guidance to be better ministers.
