Church Planting Network in Lisbon

Pray for Jonathan, ReachGlobal personnel in Portugal, who is meeting this week with other missionaries and Portuguese pastors to discuss the possibility of creating a network of church planters who work in the greater Lisbon area. Pray for this meeting to bear fruit in the months that follow and help jump-start the process of a church planting movement.

European Leadership Forum in Budapest

Pray for sharpening conversations and learning experiences at the European Leadership Forum in Budapest May 18-24. Pray for God’s Spirit to lead Ritch, Mike, and Jay, ReachGlobal Europe area personnel, as they seek His leading for developing European church planters.

Church planting course

Pray for God’s blessing on Ernest, ReachGlobal personnel in Venezuela, who is teaching a course on church planting this week at a Missions Institute. Ask God to give clarity and understanding to the 15 students participating in this class. Pray that what they learn will enable them to build kingdom churches that reach many Latin Americans with the gospel.

Ministry in Mexico City

Pray for Joshua and Naomi, ReachGlobal personnel, departing today for Mexico City where they and their three children will begin their church planting ministry. Pray for gracious, humble hearts as they adjust to a new country and their ministry partners. Ask God for guidance and wisdom for the right location to find a home. Pray that they will have a growing love for Jesus, and for those who need Him.

Church planting training in Africa

Pray for wisdom and clear communication for Pastor Selenga and Pastor Kiamu who are conducting a Multiplication Church Planting training workshop in Kinshasa, DR Congo this week.  Leaders from Congo as well as key representatives from Togo and Ivory Coast are participating in this training. Pray effective learning and that God will use this to launch a church planting movement in these areas.

Multiplying Churches Globally

Pray for stamina and energy today for those attending Multiplying Churches Globally, the annual cross-cultural church planting training. Pray for those participants preparing for ministry in the Middle East and North Africa, Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe. Pray special grace for two international leaders attending from Quebec and Haiti. Pray for the guest participants from Send International, WorldTeam and other mission agencies. May it be an encouragement to all to see God bringing together those preparing to serve Him around the world.

Multiplying Churches Globally

Pray for spiritual understanding and receptivity for the 29 participants attending Multiplying Churches Globally training event and the Coaching Clinic in Bloomington, MN, June 28-July 1. Ask God to give endurance and focus to the ReachGlobal teaching team: Gene, Craig, Mark, Julie, Mike, Mark, and Dave. Pray for unity and God’s favor and that the Holy Spirit will minister to each one. Pray that through this training the participants will gain a firm biblical foundation as they multiply His Church.

Church Planting in Germany

Pray for Ritch, ReachGlobal personnel in Czech Republic, who is in Frankfurt, Germany today, to meet with national German church planters and ReachGlobal leadership. The purpose is to learn from them what God is doing in and through their efforts to develop, empower, and release European church planters who will reach out in their communities with the gospel of Jesus.

Teaching and Training in Venezuela

Pray for Ernest and Effie, ReachGlobal personnel in Venezuela, conducting seminars at two different places in the same town January 28-February 1. Pray for them as they give church planting training to one church group and lead house church seminars with the other group. Ernest and Effie will be driving back and forth between the two locations so pray that their vehicle, which has not been running well, will be reliable. Ask God to give them strength and energy during this full weekend teaching and training.

Planting churches in West Africa

Pray for 17 church planters in Sierra Leone and 25 church planters in Liberia who have been trained in multiplication church planting strategies over the past two months. They are currently doing community surveys to prayerfully seek where God would have them plant churches among the least reached people in West Africa. Pray for wisdom, God's provision and clear open doors for them during these days of prayer and visiting communities.

Church planting training in Costa Rica

Pray for Mike, ReachGlobal Church Planting personnel, and Pastor Jose who will be training 60 pastors and regional leaders in Guanacaste, Costa Rica this week. Pray for Jose and Mike as they prepare for this time and that God will use this teaching to bring understanding and deeper knowledge of His Word. Also pray for Mike as he has received requests to teach and train church planters in the Dominican Republic, Brazil and has an invitation to Chile to help church leaders there assess needs in church planting.
