Building project in Tunisia

Pray for Lonnie, ReachGlobal personnel in France, and the construction team from the Merlan Church in Marseille who are in Tunisia putting up a building for the Center for the Handicapped. Pray for strength, good health, and safety. Pray the team will be a light for the good news of Jesus Christ and have opportunities to share the gospel with the Tunisians working with them.

Ministry to expectant mothers

Pray for Cherry, ReachGlobal personnel in Venezuela, who is involved in their church’s ministry with expectant mothers. Pray that God will grant wisdom as this ministry seeks to expand and needs more workers to help staff the ministry alongside Cherry and Janet. Pray that the mothers who attend will be blessed through the fellowship, counsel, and information offered.

Church Planting Network in Lisbon

Pray for Jonathan, ReachGlobal personnel in Portugal, who is meeting this week with other missionaries and Portuguese pastors to discuss the possibility of creating a network of church planters who work in the greater Lisbon area. Pray for this meeting to bear fruit in the months that follow and help jump-start the process of a church planting movement.

English classes in Czech Republic

Pray for Sheryll, ReachGlobal personnel in the Czech Republic, as she hosts the end‐of‐the‐school year party for the Horni Pocernice English classes. Each student will receive a CD with the Czech New Testament, read by professional actors, as a gift for the summer. Pray that the Holy Spirit will work in these student’s lives as they listen to God’s Word.

Strategic ministries in Sudan

Pray for Merle and Tony, ReachGlobal personnel, who are in South Sudan June 19-30, attending the Evangelical Free Church of South Sudan (EFCSS) Pastor’s Conference and to discuss future plans of leadership training and holistic ministries. They will also observe the Community Health Evangelism (CHE) programs and Seed Bank projects in several areas. Pray for wisdom and unity in discussions of partnerships and how ReachGlobal can assist EFCSS in future growth. Pray for safety while traveling on rough and isolated roads. Pray for the success of the seed banks that will provide food during periodic spells of famine.

Caring for Costa Rica personnel

Pray for good health and stamina for George and Donna, ENHANCE (care) Team, who are in Costa Rica June 15-26. Pray that God will give them insight, discernment, and guidance as they encourage the ReachGlobal personnel.

Multiplying Churches Globally training

Pray for the group of 40 ReachGlobal staff and guests attending Multiplying Churches Globally training at South Suburban EFC in Apple Valley, MN June 19-22. The goal of this event is to help participants understand their role and best practices in cross-cultural church multiplication. Pray for focus, for spiritual preparation, and receptivity for the facilitators and participants. Pray for wisdom and strength for ReachGlobal staff Mark, Julie, Tim, Sam, Craig O., Gene W., Mike G., Mark L., David E., and Ted S.  They are working in conjunction with SEND international to provide this training and several SEND staff are participating. Pray that this event would prepare missionaries well for their first steps in contributing to the spread of God’s church globally.

Kingdom Expansion 101 course

Pray for a good class of participants for the online course Kingdom Expansion 101. Registration is now open and will be facilitated by Linda, EFCA EQUIP Team, from July 11 to August 21. Ask God to help them learn together and grow in their knowledge and understanding.

Need for teachers at RFIS

Pray for the urgent need for high school teachers at Rain Forest International School in Cameroon for the 2012-2013 school year. The school also serves missionary children, other expatriates, and national communities. All instruction is in English.

Need of God’s protection

Pray for God’s protection to surround the Flemish spiritual leaders and their families in Belgium. Pray that the gospel work will not be weakened or destroyed. Ask God to strengthen them with His power so they have great endurance and patience.

Summer ministry and outreach in Hungary

Pray for strength, stamina, and wisdom for Brad and Kari, ReachGlobal personnel in Hungary, as they have a full summer of directing the English Camps, mobilizing volunteer translators and helpers, as well as hosting teaching teams from St. Peters and Chicago. They will host the guest helpers, all the while continuing to meet with their small group, teach English, preach at their church’s weekend retreat, and manage the Ministry Center.

Strategic meetings in MENA

Pray for the Middle East-North Africa (MENA) Lead Team who is meeting together for the next ten days to plan and strategize where to focus our resources and recruiting. Pray for fruitful meetings, divine appointments, and God’s presence during this time.

Prayer Network

Pray for 2Him4Them (Justice Initiatives Prayer Network) prayer groups and the leaders. New 2Him4Them leaders are working on forming new prayer groups in five different locations and churches. Pray for the hearts of the leaders and all of us praying against human trafficking to be strengthened in this battle.

Camping ministry in Liberia

Pray for Tara, director of CAMPS ReachGlobal, traveling to Liberia June 10-18. Ask God to fill Tara with wisdom and knowledge as she works with the leaders of ReachAfrica to set the ground work for a camping ministry in Liberia to further His Kingdom.

Ministry to Students

Pray for wisdom for Charles, ReachGlobal personnel in Poland, who has a ministry with university students in Lodz. New students attend every week and Charles’ goal is to equip them to reach out to other students using simple methods. All of the students speak Russian as their first language and Polish as their second language so they read the Scriptures in both Polish and Russian. Pray for boldness and understanding for the students who take the lead in the discussions. Pray that more students would trust in Jesus and follow Him as Lord.

Home Assignment Personnel

Pray for ReachGlobal personnel on home assignment this summer as they connect with their supporters. Pray that the Lord will release the funds through the people and churches He has called to support the ministries in Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin America, and MENA.

Ministry in India

Pray for health, strength, and priority setting for Sharon, leader of Justice Initiatives, as she travels to India tomorrow for five weeks of ministry. Pray that all the details she worked on preparing for the time in India will be accomplished according to God’s purposes.

Meetings in Haiti

Pray for God’s grace on the meetings in Haiti this week with TouchGlobal, ReachGlobal Latin America/Caribbean, several Haitian partners and two U.S. churches to do initial planning for launching GlobalFingerprints in Haiti. Pray for sensitivity to God's leading and good fellowship.

Multiplication Church Planting Training

Pray for David K., ReachAfrica Church Planting Director, who is conducting the Multiplication Church Planting training in Mozambique May 30-June 7. Ask the Lord for protection, safe travel, stamina, blessing, and power in his teaching. This is ReachAfrica’s first ministry opportunity in one of the Portuguese-speaking countries in Africa. Pray that the Lord will use this training to equip many church planters to start churches in communities that do not have a gospel witness.
